Registration/Conference Questions

+ When will the conference take place? Where is it located?

November 18-20th, 2018 | Delta Hotels Bessborough, Downtown Saskatoon, Saskatchewan

+ How do I get to Saskatoon?

West Jet, Air Canada and Delta all fly into Saskatoon daily.

+ Can I register in person? What are the registration rates?

Online Registration Only. The registration fee is $325.00 CAD. If you need assistance with registration email: nrjsyxe@gmail.com

+ Does the symposium ticket include the Gala?

No, but we would love to have you join us! A gala ticket can be added to any conference registration.

+ Can I attend only one day of the conference? Or just the gala?

A full ticket is required to attend any portion of the day conference. Individual gala tickets are available on the registration page should you be interested in the gala only.

+ Is there funding available to help with the registration costs?

The NRJS Planning Committee is not able to confirm funds for registration support at this time. If you wish to be contacted should funds become available, please contact nrjsyxe@gmail.com

+ How can my organization become a conference sponsor?

+ What is the cancellation policy for tickets?

Unfortunately, tickets are non-refundable, however you may transfer your ticket to another person or donate it. Email: nrjsyxe@gmail.com

+ I have never been to Saskatoon, what is there to see?

  • Persephone Theatre
  • TCU Place (performing arts)
  • Sasktel Centre (sports and major concert venue)
  • Cameco Meewasin Skating Rink and Nutrien Plaza – outdoor skating rink. Weather permitting.
  • The Roxy Theatre – (movies)
  • Scotiabank Theatre (movies)
  • BHP Billiton Enchanted Forest Light Tour
  • Midtown Plaza – downtown shopping center
  • Broadway – shopping and restaurants

+ What is the typical weather in Saskatoon in Late November?

Typical November temperatures are -1 C to -10 C with very little snow. Pack your winter gear to enjoy the outdoors.

Parking and Transportation

+ Is transportation provided from the airport?

The Delta Hotels Bessborough does not provide shuttle service from the airport. The Hotel is 14.8 km away (25 mins) Cost is approximately $39.00 CAD for a taxi service.

Accommodation

+ Does the Hotel have parking?

Yes. Valet parking has a fee of: $20.00 CAD daily and On-site parking has a fee of: $15.00 CAD daily

+ Are meals served at the conference?

Breakfast, Lunch, and snacks provided.

+ Will vegetarian/vegan/kosher/gluten-free options be available?

Yes! Please indicate any special dietary requirements during the online registration to ensure that we are prepared.

+ Is the hotel wheelchair accessible?

Yes. Both the venue and the hotel are equipped for wheelchair access.
